A total of 600 hours of study
is required in California to qualify for the licensing examination. The course
is to be completed within 19 weeks from date of entry. The curriculum includes
all methods of electrology – galvanic (including multi-needle), Thermolysis
(radio frequency) and Blend (both currents together). The student will learn
sanitation and sterilization procedures, Skin Structure, Hair growth cycle,
Vascular system, electricity, Safety, and How to establish a business. Students
are given written and practical tests to help pass the California state exam.
Each student who successfully graduates will be awarded a
diploma and be prepared to meet the board certification requirements for
obtaining their licensure as a licensed Electrologist.

Enrollment requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. Class
size is limited and acceptance is based on a first come-first serve basis
beginning the first Tuesday of every month. The Institute welcomes applications
at any time from interested individuals and maintains a waiting list of eligible
students for future enrollment. Those interested should contact the Institute
for an application of Enrollment and Registration.
